really really good! was this done on serato? dope skillz and some excellent tunes – only downpoint was the scruff tune – didnt seem to work as well as everything else! Top work though all the same –
Yes, as with my last mix this was done with a combination of serato and vinyl (pretty much fifty fifty glancing at the tracklist) serato just for playing my own tunes and a couple i only have in digital format, recorded in a couple of parts n that stuck together with DJ glue 🙂
Shame you’re not feeling the scruff tune Len, one of my faves of his for quite a while but different strokes fi different folks! 🙂
Excellent stuff. Didn’t really appreciate it on first listen, similar first impression to my favourite mix last year (Kariboo Krew) where it seems too densely packed. Further listenings peel back the layers nicely, and you’ve included just the right amount of hip hop flavours (I don’t like too much hip hop in a mix). Very nicely done sir. Had it on repeat in the car recently.
and yeah, the bucketheads thing – it’s actually an unrelated track that works the same Chicago sample ‘Street Players’ by Voodoo Chilli. Apparently it’s an alias of The Count AKA Herve; the house producer, i have just discovered 🙂
Readybreak.
So i gives Mr Gough a copy and he’s all, “Lets put this dope shit on the loungeonthefarm.co.uk website and big him up a bit.”
Shotgun on the rollerskating jam called saturday for the night. Peas n dub.
Now you must show me how to get my mixes up on b00mb0x x
From what i’ve listened to so far online… brilliant!
But does anyone know how to download it using a mac? All it will do is play in the browser. Or is that all it’s meant to do? Would be a mental addition to the ipod!
right clik, save as if you’re on a pc
don’t know the procedure for the mac
if you do find out tho, could you leave the how to on here.. for future ref’s..
good luck
