Eclectic and funky, this is the same set I played at the Dogstar in Brixton a few weeks ago, it went down a storm so I decided to record it for posterity.
What a WONDERFUL compilation/mix this is Steve !!! Deffo yer finest hour.
There must have been a sea of smilin faces beamin back at you when you played this out the other week ?
Its got me grinnin like a fool here like 🙂
D/L’d for i-Pod enjoyment.
Thank you so much mate, for sharin.
Cant smile wide enough. 🙂
Thanks for all the comments, glad it’s appreciated. Sorry about the crackliness on the Ian Dury, some very old vinyl was dug out for this one – I thought the Osibisa sounded worse myself, I almost didn’t include it for that reason. I have heard the Apples version of The Power, I need to get myself a copy of that – there’s a version of the Prodigy’s Voodoo People in a similar vein by 6Toys which is great too.
