Just put together with some Fairy liquid bottles and some sticky-back plastic lenodd! 😉
Usually spend about 3 months on each one. Track selection usually takes up the most time. Then theres also a lot of trial and error with the edits and loops. All part of the fun tho. Thanks for listening and for the comments.
i dunno – i was expecting it to go on a bit more, but it seems to end when i didnt expect it! great stuff though – always enjoyed your contributions 🙂
Got into this – a cool soundtrack for creative endeavors – excellent atmospheric sounds – got me into a good space – I’ll be checking out I – III very soon 😉
Very good indeed.Nice selection for my ears.It had me feeling creative, too,so I did up a drawing while listening.
I can’t post the pic here,or I would.
Some fine tracks in here that I would buy.
Sound was super at high volume.
Good work.
& thanks.
Your most cohesive mix yet. I wanted to leave a comment about kilchurn III, about how smooth and creative it was (using air’s “run” into sashas mix). But it at times had some deadpoints.
This mix is alot like III but slightly improved in every way. Kudos to using more apparat tunes (can’t go wrong there). And really digging the dubstep sound in the later parts. The mixing really feels subtle.
I totally agree about this mix really bringing out the creative side of people. I listened to his mix yesterday 4 times in a row while developing black and white prints in a darkroom 🙂
Overall I really like where you’re taking this series and in contrast to most past opinions, I liked III and IV the best.
To me, I and IV are narcotic and moving in a way I’ve never heard. I listen to either as soon as I wake up, so you can imagine the special place they have in my brain 😀
This mix is tops. Nice crisp drums and spaced out melodies throughout. Track selection was spot on. Definitely my favorite of the 4 you’ve done this year. Looking forward to next year. Thanks again for sharing.
I have to say, there is an art on how you pick most of these tracks and slow them down and they sound better then they do at their original bpm. the sasha remix of hawaii sounds 10x better slowed down. the scuba track sounds 10000x better slowed down than the original 150 or so bpm it is. it’s like wow, i’m amazed some of these are the same tracks. keep it up, definitely dig your mixes man.
