Hey fellas!
Another mix from the vaults of soopajud! This one is funky, hippy, spacy, jazzy. There are several french artists in it (tracks 2,7,8,12,16,18) from the 60’s period. Hope you like it !
cheers

The beginning really seduced me, Soopa. I like very much this kind of theatrical, story telling mixing. But then there follow several jumps in style, vibe and tension so that it seemed to me more like you assembled some good tunes. But nevertheless I like this collection. Monkey Drop is unbeatable. Seems to me that you have some treasures in your vaults.
you saw right through me man !
I have not the pretention of being a mixer.
I just assemble tunes i like, trying to make them go smoothly along the way, sometimes the result is not really good…
I usually spend more time enjoying making the covers than mixing the tunes…
What can i say ? I’m unforgivable ;o)
Well thanks dangerscouse !
You’re my first fan ! ;o)
Thanks to briscoe too : some tracks are from “Shake Sauvage” : a french movie soundtrack compilation. Some are from “The sound Gallery I and II”, and some from “La boite Noire” (Radio Nova)
Hope this help you…
cheers !

Indeed, at several points during my multiple listens, I thought I was watching a Jacques Demi movie remixed with a Tarantino joint.
Nino Ferrer Deserves far more recognition than only being known for his silly songs.

Liked this one alot! Where do you know these from? Haven’t heard most, which are very cool funk/big band songs.

I think you always pull off the perfect combination of obscure tunes and known gems..
