Ha, I noticed! I’ve got yours on the download now. I noticed a mistake in the tracklisting I left the Jah Warrior and Skream from the last the tracklisting they shouldn’t be on there, doh!
enjoyed it, but i think i liked your last mix more – dunno why! anyhoo, good selection of nicely varied beats, and always enjoy a spot of classic stevie wonder 😀
Right then… I did have some doubts if it would be as good as I hoped, with Len saying that he didn’t like it as much as Vol. 1… which is still on heavy rotation in the ‘scouse house.
TBH I fuckin loved every second of it, didn’t want it to stop. The tunes, every single one of them were bang on and some of the mixing was sublime… especially from ‘Sir Duke’ to ‘Sugar Coated’. Some that I knew, quite a few that I didn’t and all of them I want to own!!
This in my humble opinion, is better than Vol. 1 and is one of the best mixes I’ve heard on the ‘b0x… my ears can’t thank you enough 😉
Cheers for remarks glad you like it, I got the sir duke from song review, it’s a compilation of his greatest songs, although I reckon there are few missed out like ‘A place in the sun’ and ‘Higher ground’ but thats just my opinion.
Bump.
I’ve been playing this a lot over the last week. It gets better and better. Incredibly high hit rate of spot-on tunes. One of the best mixes for a while.

Other way round for me – liked #1 but this one really hits the spot. Some cracking unknown tracks for me, e.g. 5 and 6. A burner.
Cheers for the comments, if you liked track 5, check out the Motorcycle Diaries soundtrack some lovely music on there.
Very good listen.Enjoyed your presence in the arrangement. So much of it was new to me.I was surprised I actually knew sir duke.

Also meant to ask what version that is of Sir Duke… I got mine from the ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ album, yet yours sounds like a session version.

Listening to this now and although I don’t be on here too often, I know a brilliant set when I hear one.
I will be buying some of the originals on here, mainly The Budos Band, Lack of Afro and Deela
Thnx for the ed.
Thanks.
Alot of the tracks I buy I hear from random mixes/podcasts I listen to and then I go on a hunt to find the track. Try Mp3 skyline.
