Cheers guys. This one has been a slow burning follow up to At The End Of The Day – building up the songs over several months. It’s the kind of mix I certainly wouldn’t have seen myself doing a few years ago…
Despite the diamond,it was easy to play right on thru. Many faves arranged properly.
Among all the great tracks,I sure love that lucinda williams.I’ve see her live,& it’s a treat.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks all. I think useo had it right – this is more of an arrangement than a mix, but I like varying things up. The next few mixes are likely to be very different, but you never know. I have a few ideas “mullin’ and a’ creepin’ and a’ crawlin’ in my head” (got to track down that soundbite from Top Secret).
Nice chilled selection of tunes and a very welcome change of direction musically speaking.
I always like to hear a bit of Neil Diamond… one of my many guilty pleasures. Well, I call it guilty as that’s what society terms it, personally I’ve got no issues with admitting that I like him. I’ll get off my soap box now…
Somehow… I missed this mix! EnJoYing it now… it’s YUMMY! LOVELY mix!!!
I agree with Pirate, love that first track!
Great track selection. Melancholy thought provoking loveliness! I grew up with my parents blasting Neil Diamond all the time. His music is in my blood! I like Neil Diamond and I’m not ashamed to say it ;-)… Love On The Rocks… Ain’t No Big Surprise! How can you loose with lyrics like that…
I think “Mother” by Pink Floyd would have been a great addition to this mix.
Loved this mix all-the-way-through… more please 🙂
More is indeed coming next week. The follow up to Underworld, so more of a heavily-layered, twisted, dark “chill” mix than the laid back melancholia on offer here.

I have to be fair and say that I don’t come here often but every time I come I find something special and this is one example of it. Good stuff!
Happy new year to you!
Great flow to this – excellent end of the day listening… and hey – mix number 51 – bloody awesome!
Very nice mix. It’s been cold and rainy here all day. This goes perfect with sipping tea and staying warm. Thanks.
Peace.
