Well…
I’ve been “working” on this one for over a month now, it began during a sleepless night. The majority of the tracks were already choosen during that terrible night, but I had to arrange them in a way that would suit my mind and my ears.
I hope you’ll give a couple of listen to it, I think it’s one of the best things I’ve uploaded here and the majority of the songs are instrumental…
Several songs contained in this one mean a lot to me, for very different reasons.
Enjoy!!
dEZ
hello dez !
comme tu le vois, je ne suis pas bcp dispo ces derniers temps…
je prends ton mix qui me tente bien et j’essaierais de me l’écouter au plus vite
embrasses des femmes !!!
matt
Eerie and beautiful music, love the crate digging involved!
merci dez..
j’aime des trucs.. d’autre moins.. j’aime bien les trucs comme francois de roubaix, goblin, j’aime moins les groupes de rock…merci quand meme cher dEZ…
Loved this, as usual dEZ.
You’re defo one of the most consistent mixers on the ‘box imo. You have’nt put a foot wrong in ’07
Rhaaaaa I expected more comments on this one, but you know, one’s psychedelic taste in music can’t match everyone’s feelings…
anyway, like Soopajud Wrote, the Francois de Roubaix tune is a classic (sampled many times, just google it).
But my favourite tunes in here were Phideaux and Can (talk about Prog rock, huh).
Happy new year to everyone out there, I may consider making up a xmas mix next year!! (I don’t like it Bong, you know that).
Now, it’s d/l time, gonna listen to a lot of unknown songs you uploaded!
Love the mix. I was mainly attracted by the Les Baxter Hogin Machine track as I love that song but all the other tracks have answered lots of my ‘what track did that wicked sample came from’.
Keen to hear this Dez (I love a bit of Amon Duul/Can etc.) but once d/led it kept freezing my Zen up. Will d/l again cuz I know you had probs with the title and uploading it. Will let you know cheers hp 🙂
Listened to this again, and it was better the second time around… the first time around was also extremely good.
Hopefully more comments will follow in time. It is a dEZ masterpiece.
Mr. Danger I think we have something in common : discovering new music…
Yet, the mix has already changed because I think some parts in the end are not well blended, but it is the same mood…
Oh, I almost Forgot…
I love the OST of “I’m not there”. I guess I’m not the only one… I discovered some Bob Dylan Songs I never heard of before and they really deserve a hearing…
I could make a mix of those songs, because it is superb as it is, but I may pick my fav’ ones and put it on for my january mix… (I run out of ideas now)
…and last but not least if you like this mix, Rush to the compilations called “Dusty fingers” they are full of lost treasures…
Got to say this has to be on of my all time best mixes. It’s been in my archives for nearly two years now and everytime I listen to it I find a new favourite track. Would love to hear some more mixes along this line.
