Wish we had something like Halloween here in Oz, but alas we dont have little kids dreesed up as spooks & monsters knocking on our doors asking for candy. In this world of political correctness we dont even have girl guides selling cookies anymore…well not since that incident where they were laced with razor blades.
Great mix warvadal there is such much in here it’s time for another listen. Not as terrifying as DJ XNet’s mix which is still freaking me out 😉 but scary enough!!
Really good stuff again man – great mood and superior sampleage – you kept the quality threshold high throughout – really enjoyed – look forward to your next!
Thanks for the comments, folks. Steve, good question, but I no longer have the source for that piece. But I could have been wrong on that listing. Thanks for the looking out, and I’ll get back to you if I can find more info.
Alright. I went back over the steps I took putting this one together. The track “Hymn To The Exhiled” credited to Lemon Jelly is by the group, Lust, a “Dark Metal” band out of Canada. Seems I messed-up with my L’s pile. Stuff happens. Sorry.
Mr. Lovely, I think you are refering to the same track mentioned above. The only other part I think you may mean is the ending to the track, Kill Us Before The Rain Comes by Sublinear. I hope that helped… A little.
And by the way, the cover-art is by an artist that simply goes by the name, Galdebar, and its called “Horror.”
Warvadal – Psychotronic Horrorbeat

I’m loving it.
Too bad I hadn’t this on my computer when those children came for candies, I would have played it.
Very nice sfx, Lugosi Ruled (well, not in Ed Wood’s movies).

Great mix, nice and spooky, particularly like the Red Snapper track, just one question – “Hymn To The Exhiled”‘s not really by Lemon Jelly, is it?

Unfortunately I didn’t listen to this in time for Halloween, but enjoyed it from start to finish.
Dark, brooding, provoking – nice (if that’s the right word) samples and some chilling moments.
I’m curious to know about the choirboy track near the end, where’s it from?
