- bong : i think the recent database problems caused a flux with people not being able to view the site properly, which in turn would probably have had a knock on effect with the lack of downloads experienced for that 2 week period.. the rest? who knows!
- ambientfusion : new mix in the works... been a while. hopefully have it uploaded soon.
- Der DiskothekerTM : The box remains mysterious to me. Sometimes a mix runs to some hundreds of downloads in ten days, sometimes it's only a slow dropping even though there is no difference in quality. I'm participating since more than one year now and still don't understand how it works... Nevertheless big thanks to all the mixers who make me puzzle about this question!
- Warvadal : @Mr. Wyse. I see you have a mix upload. Do you have a cover and/or tradklist to go with it? I will wait to post it until I hear from you. Peace.

Fantastic mix, I was thinking of putting one of these together for my own enjoyment but it would be more mainstream than this i.e funk hits from the 80s. Thanks for opening my ears to some great tunes. That opening track is gorgeous. cheers hp

Hydraulic pump is a killer track - sampled by fix ‘flash’ - fuckin’ love it!
Also apologies everyone for sticking on daft punk ‘voyager’ again - it fitted and I can’t get enough of it

This was a combo of blog digging and my collection of disco stuff at home - you’re right though - these have been caned sample wise - some good comps to check are jumpin’ vols 1 and 2 and the sampled series.

ps bong - the other tune you were digging is mfsb - sampled by busta rhymes ‘everybody come on’ i think amongst others - tune!

You’ve got more genres than Waterstones!
Smoothly put together and some good tunage. Reminds me in style of some of those Dimitri from Paris compilations. The current Mrs Edward will like this mix I reckon.
I had one of those wierd “hearing the original sample for the first time” moments with the track that was used in Flash Fix. (Like when you hear him say “We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of the dreams” in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory). Anyway, I digress. Nice stuff as always. I’ve no idea how you crank them out so regularly while still keeping the quality up.

Disco isn’t a genre that I’d usually search out, BUT I do generally enjoy it when I hear it and there is quite a lot of disco that is like uptempo soul, and that’s always gonna be a good thing.
Overall I enjoyed it, preferred the chunky funky disco tunes but all of the tunes were good.

This has been in my headphones for the last two weeks! It’s been keeping me upbeat while the day job has gone oh-so manic! As always great selection - Have always loved the ‘leopard skin’ Danny Krivit’s Love is the message. But a lot here that’s new. Cheers again - I love my boogie bass sounds!
Another keeper! I can see I’m going have to increase my hard drive with all the quality about!

Soz Len, thought I had commented on this one - but obviously I hadn’t.
Well, gave this one a blast the other day and it certainly lifted the gloomy clouds over Devizes. Have to admit, I’m a sucker for disco so this went down a treat!
There were a few tracks (P-Funk especially) which I have heard in other mixes but never been able to establish who they were by so that was cool. Its also good to hear where a lot of the samples used in house music today originated from and I find that often the originals are best.
All in all a fluent and highly dance able mix. Thanks!
