Good mix! Great version of “Swanlake”. Didn’t know this version of “Love Beat”, the one I know is more bossa nova but it may be a remix. I guess Suzuki K1 is Keiichi Suzuki as the beginning of “Saturday Mix” seems to be his “Satellite Serenade”, of which I’ve got the Orb mix on 12″ – one of my favourite tunes which by coincidence I dug out recently after not having played it for years.
It was refreshing. The styles were well-done,& I enjoyed the introduction to the pieces. The last track I had some slight resistance to.It was so perky. But I found that fun, too,so all was good.
Nice cover art.
😀
thanks for all your inspiring comments, highly appreciated.
geez : glad your enjoying the plugin. you know its quite antique actually but i never found anything that makes my mp3s sound anything like it.
gridban : swanlake is from an album called “classic dub classics” with dub remixes of popular classic music, love it. and yes satellite serenade – i feel similar about it … that guitar floating along these ethereal sphere is bliss.
useo8 : thanks … that last track is pretty weird indeed. i still recall i didnt like it at all first time i discovered it but somehow this quirky little tune managed to never let me go.
nice tunes – left me feeling very chilled – would be an interesting travelling soundtrack – i love doing things like that – adds something else to a journey 🙂
Trap.Track – Travelling Mind
just about to launch on an extended asia journey which inspired me to make this mix.
1 ryuichi sakamoto – the last emperor end theme (live)
2 tujiko noriko – tokyo
3 hiroshi fujiwara – swanlake
4 Hattori Katsuhisa – sept elle meme
5 yoshinori sunahara – love beat
6 aoki takamasa + tujiko noriko – fly2
7 suzuki k1 – saturday mix (with japanese it’s all right song)
8 yoko kanno and hajime mizoguchi – what’cha gonna do
Hory clap batman!
This looks right up my alley.
And thanks for that plug-in name on your last upload. Works a treat!
