Wahooo – more robotic sci fi fun 🙂
Arrhh I had telephone call while listening to this – I need to play it again (& again & again) it’s got sooo many samples in it.
OOOOOOoooOOOH This looks so YUMMY! On the download now!
excellent mix 😈
What is the secret is fab. 😉
This is a heap of work dude… thank you very much… great mix
😯
Thanks folks for all the positive feedback. This was big fun putting together.
DJHDD: What’s the Secret is a James Lileks joint. He has some other Sci/Fi related mixes out there, but they are getting harder n harder to find…Check him out..
Thanks again everybody. It’s sometimes hard for me to believe that I’m on the b00mb0x…
Peace
oh man! I am all over this – although between you and DJHDD you’ve pretty much ruined my much in the planning mix of sci fi stuff… but looks good… on the download now!
😯
Dont let it stop ya King Megatrip – I’m sure we could handle more Sci Fi.
Is this his site? lileks.com It’s huge
Yes, djhdd. That’s his site. As you can see he’s into all kinds of stuff.
Peace
Absolutely stunning mix, a fantastic piece of well-crafted work executed skillfully. Great samples and great beats. Great.
Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More! More!!! I did not want this mix to end! The highlight for me was the prefectly placed 3 second sample from The Rocky Horror Picture Show 🙂 You rock man!
The Ultimate Mobile Disco (Star) System mix. Is Davros using Ableton on that console of his? Or pining for Steve?

Thanks again folks. You sure know how to make a guy feel good. Mr. Greencheese, I should have known you’d catch that bit. And Davros, in my mind, is the world’s greatest villian.
Peace.
Such a joy.It works great on the just listening level,& on the workings of the mix level.
A splendid journey thru the subject matter.I very much enjoyed your machinations throughout.
The cover was good.Looks very late 70’s.
Welcome to the site.
really enjoyed this; was fearing a sample overload but it was nicely paced and well thought out – excellent first posting – a high standard to live up to! 😉 😀
3rd post 😉
my mistake!
This is excellent – enjoyed the journey though time and space… Very clever use of samples and tunes. Top marks.
Marvellous, marvellous stuff, an absolute joy to behold, there’s so many good mixes on the box at the moment I think I’m gonna explode with joy…thanks for sharing such a work of art.
cheers hp 🙂
Hmmm, seem to be always posting immediately after HP at the moment… It’s probably just coincidence, but have any of you ever seen us both in the same place at the same time?
Anyway, back on topic. I agree with everything above. This is ace – and I mean really ace. A sample-fest but tastefully done and with really nice music as well. Most of sample heavy mixes seem to be based around downtempo hip-hop breaks and beats but you’ve got some really lovely stuff in here and a lot of variety.
Top work… “So say we all!”
Thanks a lot folks for the feedback. Makes me feel very welcomed.
Peace.
Excellent, and thanks for including the track listing. I was able to pick most of it out, but knowing for sure is always appreciated.
On to this one quite late… but can only agree with everything said above. One of the best mixes this year. Looking forward to the Halloween one…
Thanks a lot Matrix. You guys just don’t know it, but you’ve taught me all I know about mixing. I’ve been listening to mixes on bOOmbOx from since way back in the day. Big cheers to all you guys who provided me with motivation and courage to go forward. Long live bOOmbOx… Long live the art of mixing.
Peace.
Old Scifi is the bomb! I grew up watching that stuff all the time.
Just got to this Warvadal and it’s a real gem. Love the innovation going on here, daleks are great aren’t they?
Like the Air piece at the back, worked well.
Welcome to the ‘b0x.
the link was broken so i had to change the file name to get it working again. anyways… your counter was on 386 so add that to any new hits 😉 the download is working now and that’s the main thing
blinkin heck… can’t believe i haven’t posted a proper comment on this mix…
it’s chuffin xcellente. revisiting after wot don’t seem like 6 yrs, it still sounds absolutely fantabulous
