Hello guys this is my 1st entry to this lovely site…
so i hope you all take time to listen to this mix… oh btw this is CD1 of a 2CD mix album “Peace & Chaos”
CD1 “Chaos” is all about Phat Basslines, Groovy sounds and keeping your feet tapping and is all kept below 127bpm…
CD2 “Peace” Well you’ll just have to find out, wont you… (next month)
Welcome to the ‘box Timeloop! This mix looks interesting, just out of interest was it done on decks or PC?
Now that would be telling..
Its done with Acid Pro 5 but i tried to make it sound like a deck mix..
Not my weapon of choice, but there’s no shame in using a PC…… unless you plan to play out then it might be a bit difficult.
Ah, But thats why i mastered other forms of mixing, i also use CD’s, Vinyl and MP3…
when i started mixing i used a record player from a cheap HiFi and a tape deck “my parents hated it”
I liked this mix from the start of the first track, just my kind of house groove, and some of the sounds on that tune really make me smile. Later on the mix got a little bit relentless for me, a bit more variation wouldn’t have gone amiss, but that’s only a minor point – the mixing’s spot on and there’s some cracking tunes here 😈 . Dunno if it sounds like a deck mix or not, I’m not sure I can tell the difference!
Thanks for the Feeback dude, im waiting til next month to post CD2 as its a whole different take on Electro house genre and makes me smile from start to finish.
also i am soo happy that there has been over 70 downloads as i would never get that many downloads normally…..
Thanks All @ BoombOx
not my type of sounds but nicely does it. our kidda’s wanting a burn so all’s custy 8)
Jackin super disco, very cool mix
Good stuff…but you already knew I would like these tunes. 😛
i wish i could post CD 2 already, i listened back to this mix again and still it keeps me happy also to see over 100 downloads is also another thing that makes me happy.
Boss mix mate! It builds and builds like a demented five year old with unlimited lego!! Had my dancing shoes itching for action…..even though it was 6:30am and I was walking the dog!!
I did think that this would be right up Solcofn’s street, so there’s no surprise in his comment…….
Thanks for your very kind words Dangerscouse, i cant wait to publish cd2, actually im really impatient and want to post it now lol, but i will wait just like everyone else.
also making another mix along the lines of cd1 but more thought has gone into it and has taken about 1-2 weeks to get to around 40+ mins, just waiting for more releases before finishing it.
No probs mate… it’s all true. I know what Steve means about the end getting a bit ‘samey’ but it still hit, kicked and punched the spot!!
No messing around, just banging tunes. It was all going off on the kitchen stereo last night. Some really satisfying sounds on here.
Gave this one a thorough airing this afternoon. As with your latest installment, a great mix that wouldn’t be out of place in any electro house come 3am. Mixing is bang on, as are the tunes.
I liked the ‘Dumb and Dumber’ sample a lot. That certainly put a big smile on my face.
I guess the only thing I would say – which I guess is picking holes a bit – was that I felt that the last track would have perhaps been better suited about 3 or 4 tracks previous. Purely because it was a very strong track and ending on it was a bit of an anti-climax.
But as I say, only a minor, minor criticism on what is another solid mix for the Timeloop stable.
Nice work mate! 😀
lol yeah last track was too good to end on, i did want to continue it more as i had a few tunes left to play around with, but i kinda thought about length and being my 1st mix to the Box so i didn’t want to melt everyone’s head and bust their ears for furture mixes lol…
Thanks again Tom.
