Smarviolious mix!!! Loved the trip! Just lovely! So relaxing and soothing. Summertime Funtime light and breezy and easy! The mix of tracks 12,13, & 14 is inspirational! Godzilla even sounds relaxed and playful… Luke Vibert does Hawaii so well… The spoken words added where perfect and well spaced out. This mix comes off just like a warm refreshing summer breeze of joy! Best mix I’ve heard in a while! Thanks for sharing the joy! I want to get in my car and drive to knowhere now now.
As expected a really beautiful mix. Great use of samples and a really warm summery vibe throughout. Another one for the car I feel and perfect for the weather we’re experiencing at the moment! Cheers guys!
Thanks for the comments - glad you all enjoyed it. This one took us a while but was well worth it I think.
Credit where credit is due…
The front cover is a photo of beautiful Reighton Sands Holiday Village in Bridlington.
The tracklist photo of traffic on the A40 was taken by a Mrs J MacRae of Cassington, W.I.
Also great to hear that the Robyn track on this mix hit the top 10 this week. She is awesome (especially live) and With Every Heartbeat is still probably only about the third best song on her album. Check out “Be Mine!” on Watch With Edward for my tip for xmas number 1.
this mix is still boss on the ipod…..i havelistened to it over 20 times…..and i still ain’t finished…..most of the tracks were unknown to me and they are great….the mixing and samples work so well……cheers again it fits into my life so well right now…….cheers again
Just noticed I have not said cheers again for all the lovely comments from you all, so to use a well worn phrase… cheers again
As Ed said it was a labour of love but we got there in the end, and a big thanks to Ed from me for keeping the ball rolling when I was searching for the right tracks/inspiration… cheers again hp
This is the second of your mixes I’ve downloaded (working my way backwards through them!) and it sounds just LOVELY. The voices over the top really give the impression of a bored lonely child stuck in the back of a hot car travelling across Europe at once both hot and frustrated but at the same time in awe of this new world he’s never seen before. Simply excellent mix!
swamp : well, play iz 26 & feed iz 4. so thats deffo 30
matrix : back to zero... let's just assume only 1000 of those downloads were real hehe
matrix : no idea where the links to my mix are coming from... so i've renamed the mix
Der DiskothekerTM : Thanx bong!
bong : corrected
Der DiskothekerTM : dear ops, there is a mistake in the artists list of My House Is Built Of Rock.: the name is Alan Vega, not Aöan ... big thanks if you could correct it
AbeTwist : Still it looks cool, 1215 dl's Hate the fact that MJ's dead by the way, came as sort of a shock
matrix : not guilty, m'lord.
Ken Masters : Michael Jackson RIP
swamp : itz not d/ls. theres bin a direct link posted somewheres, mayb several. so peeps iz klikin on the link repeatedly cos it wont werk. in reality, itz prob around the 50 d/l mark
Der DiskothekerTM : this is more than a hit, this is a miracle: more tham 1.000 downloads in a day on matrix' actual mix!
AbeTwist : wow, that was a fast upload!
swamp : ...promises, promises...
wyse : @Warvadal I've got a tracklist somewhere. I'll find it and upload.
bong : i think the recent database problems caused a flux with people not being able to view the site properly, which in turn would probably have had a knock on effect with the lack of downloads experienced for that 2 week period.. the rest? who knows!
ambientfusion : new mix in the works... been a while. hopefully have it uploaded soon.
Der DiskothekerTM : The box remains mysterious to me. Sometimes a mix runs to some hundreds of downloads in ten days, sometimes it's only a slow dropping even though there is no difference in quality. I'm participating since more than one year now and still don't understand how it works... Nevertheless big thanks to all the mixers who make me puzzle about this question!
Warvadal : @Mr. Wyse. I see you have a mix upload. Do you have a cover and/or tradklist to go with it? I will wait to post it until I hear from you. Peace.
bong : cheers for the fixes naz.. bmbx works great again.. Hurrah!
naz : welcome back
ihou : A Soulful house mix back from 2007 coming on it's way Cheers Mates!
matrix : will do
Boogie Maggoo : If it's not too difficult could you update my mix with the new version? Thx
bong : fair to middlin' thanks useo
useo8 : lo all how ya been?
bong : nice one
shiningsteve : cheers for the tip bong, sent them a mix, should be up there soon
bong : hello all.. just a message to say that the internet radio station, dance biscuit, are wondering if anyone here would like to get involved within their schedule. here's the thread.. «link» don't miss out
bong : well in Max..
Max : Hey guys! Still enjoying the tapes for four years now! Keep it up!
Warvadal : @DJtec. I had some problems with your back cover. Had to resize it (too big). + I don't know if that's the way you wanted it to look (sideways), but that's how it was uploaded. Let me know. I'm out of town until sunday. Peace.
bong : oo ooo ooo ooo.rrrrrrrrrrrr e
dj readybreak : Cheers for the upload peeps, enjoy!
bong : cheers for the headsup
bong : ok. the mix is now vepiks but the comments are still wrong.. will try and see if this can be rectified

This is by FAR my favorite mix on this site. Especialy when driving a car, it’s like a cosy little pillow of warmth to my mood…
