this is building itself on my desktop as i type! lookin forward to it – also …top cover mate!
I love that cover!! Gonna do my head in after a while I reckon..
Cheers Bong. Top Mix as ever.. Warming up a cold winters day in Cape Town. 8)
A lively, but easy-going set.I really enjoy these more creative type of dance tracks.I have less success playing them locally,as they demand vocal club tracks here, but I lean towards this direction.
The johnny fiasco & zero dB were standouts in a splendid batch.
It was a pleasure to enjoy the passage as the seaming was so natural.
I only knew about half of these & found many new artists to like.
No critical point I can make, which is great,eh? Altho’ you could have done a double-hemming waver between the count ossie & burdy tracks,I think it’s merely kvetching.hehe
That cover is memorable & a freaky laff!
Killer! Loved the mix of dub house/disco/Chicago jack/and jazz house. The Loose Joints version is awesome. Sounds like an updated sarcastic version with hints toward african rhythms. And capping it off with DIY classic, just a cool mix.
cheers guys. your comments mean a lot to me
😈
what an awesome track that Count Ossie & Mystic Revelation of Rastafari is! The mix as always demands more plays – great stuff!
the count ossie is a mashup over the top slater hogan.. almost like a tribute to the tribute to fela kuti 😈
Certainly not what I’d expect from you mate but thoroughly enjoyed it all the same.
Love the Loose Joints cut, one of my all time favs, hadn’t heard On The Bandwagon for ages either.
Cheers for this one 🙂
“… a triumph….” The Sunday Post.
“…very groovy mix…” The Peoples Friend.
“…really funked up….” Pig Breeders Monthly.
“..made for the summer..” Which Magazine.
Cant disagree with any of the above reviews mate ?
They sum it all up for me.
Class.
😉 😛
ha ha ha, I wish I had thought of that!! 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
cheers clarts
Top gear as always. I’m not gonna look at the cover though.
finally had a listen and wasn’t disappointed 😈
late nite riddims mixed with wonky house, my favourite type of ‘ouse moosic. Love the count ossie and loose joints, but most of the other is killer too.
Lovely opener with manuel gottsching, e2-e4 is one of my favourite things ever.
Just calm it down with those covers la! 😯
lol
the cover’s well mello
Nice deep, progressive terrace house vibes going on here Bong, reminded me a little bit of the mix Eric Prydz did for DJ mag a few weeks back in that sense. As always, nice work indeed! 😀
oh no, tom said the p-word. He’s kiboshed the whole mix 😉
i know ye! terrible.. 😮
love the terrace house tho.. should be a new sub genre 😈
cheers again, lashes
I’ve got a terrace house – only prob is you can hear the neighbours sha….er hang on, oh that sort of house 😳
help, is there a problem? I got a 404 Not Found error when I tried to d/load 😯
host b havin server probs currently. this is affectin our ftp server. patience is the key werd… 😉
Lol, I didn’t mean it was like it to listen to – but in terms of set structure it built up in a similar fashion 😕
And I’m sorry about using the ‘E P’ name…
… I’ve gotta say though, he doesn’t half get a lot of hype from DJ magazine and alike! To be perfectly honest he’s far off of the pace when it comes to DJing and I wouldn’t say his tracks are that great either…..
….Maybe I’m just jealous?!
😉
ye . don’t believe what ya read in them mags 😉
I heard that Prydz mix. I prefer Bong’s 😈
lovely clart 😈
Great stuff Bong. Head-nodding magic 😀
cheers lids 😈
