Watch With Edward (The Prequel)
- A Video Mini-Mix
Tracklist:
1. The Balloon
2. 75 AKA Stay With You - Lemon Jelly
3. Crooked - Evil Nine Featuring Aesop Rock
4. Hypereal - Metropolis
5. Bucky Done Gun - M.I.A.
6. The Creeps - Camille Jones and Fedde Le Grand
7. Will You Remember Me Tomorrow - Margaret Berger
A little mini-mix fun to check that I’m encoding the video in a way that most people can see. Let me know if it gives you any problems.
The mini-mix includes a plug at the end for the launch party where I’ll be premiering a full-length video mix (which won’t include any of these tracks). More info at:
That was fantastic mate, must have took an age just to do that clip. Loved it when Evil Nine came in right on the beat. Top stuff :D :D Will try and come down for the 8th.
Glad it’s going down well… I’ve got about 90 more minutes of this stuff nearly ready. I’ll post it up on B00mb0x on July 8th hopefully.
I’ll probably also post out DVDs to anyone who wants one around then as well so you can get the full high quality experence
Tickets for the party should be on sale early next week, £4 advance.
OllyandM - I selected those videos purely on musical merit
I’m really keen to have a look at this, but am having problems opening the file. I’ve downloaded it twice, but Windows Media player only gives me the audio, and quicktime says it can’t play it, and then takes me to a site for missing components - am I doing something wrong.
Thought the mix was excellent - nice to see a bit of Rollo again! Tunes worked well together without relying on the video, which isn’t always the case.
Curious to know what software you’re using and whether you did the audio first and then overlayed the visuals after, or whether you did them together?
Should be a good night if you can reproduce it live - looking fwd to the full-length version
swamp : well, play iz 26 & feed iz 4. so thats deffo 30
matrix : back to zero... let's just assume only 1000 of those downloads were real hehe
matrix : no idea where the links to my mix are coming from... so i've renamed the mix
Der DiskothekerTM : Thanx bong!
bong : corrected
Der DiskothekerTM : dear ops, there is a mistake in the artists list of My House Is Built Of Rock.: the name is Alan Vega, not Aöan ... big thanks if you could correct it
AbeTwist : Still it looks cool, 1215 dl's Hate the fact that MJ's dead by the way, came as sort of a shock
matrix : not guilty, m'lord.
Ken Masters : Michael Jackson RIP
swamp : itz not d/ls. theres bin a direct link posted somewheres, mayb several. so peeps iz klikin on the link repeatedly cos it wont werk. in reality, itz prob around the 50 d/l mark
Der DiskothekerTM : this is more than a hit, this is a miracle: more tham 1.000 downloads in a day on matrix' actual mix!
AbeTwist : wow, that was a fast upload!
swamp : ...promises, promises...
wyse : @Warvadal I've got a tracklist somewhere. I'll find it and upload.
bong : i think the recent database problems caused a flux with people not being able to view the site properly, which in turn would probably have had a knock on effect with the lack of downloads experienced for that 2 week period.. the rest? who knows!
ambientfusion : new mix in the works... been a while. hopefully have it uploaded soon.
Der DiskothekerTM : The box remains mysterious to me. Sometimes a mix runs to some hundreds of downloads in ten days, sometimes it's only a slow dropping even though there is no difference in quality. I'm participating since more than one year now and still don't understand how it works... Nevertheless big thanks to all the mixers who make me puzzle about this question!
Warvadal : @Mr. Wyse. I see you have a mix upload. Do you have a cover and/or tradklist to go with it? I will wait to post it until I hear from you. Peace.
bong : cheers for the fixes naz.. bmbx works great again.. Hurrah!
naz : welcome back
ihou : A Soulful house mix back from 2007 coming on it's way Cheers Mates!
matrix : will do
Boogie Maggoo : If it's not too difficult could you update my mix with the new version? Thx
bong : fair to middlin' thanks useo
useo8 : lo all how ya been?
bong : nice one
shiningsteve : cheers for the tip bong, sent them a mix, should be up there soon
bong : hello all.. just a message to say that the internet radio station, dance biscuit, are wondering if anyone here would like to get involved within their schedule. here's the thread.. «link» don't miss out
bong : well in Max..
Max : Hey guys! Still enjoying the tapes for four years now! Keep it up!
Warvadal : @DJtec. I had some problems with your back cover. Had to resize it (too big). + I don't know if that's the way you wanted it to look (sideways), but that's how it was uploaded. Let me know. I'm out of town until sunday. Peace.
bong : oo ooo ooo ooo.rrrrrrrrrrrr e
dj readybreak : Cheers for the upload peeps, enjoy!
bong : cheers for the headsup
bong : ok. the mix is now vepiks but the comments are still wrong.. will try and see if this can be rectified

Nice one Edward
Like the way you manipulated/arranged the clips. Any plans for a longer Vid mix to stick up on here?
I’ll try and make it over to Oxford, just have to keep us all updated on when the tickets go on sale etc.
Cheers
Tom

download the free divX program, see if plays with that
May 28th, 2007 at 6:39 pm
Bong’s right - it’s encoded with DivX. Once you’ve installed the DivX player, it should also then work in normal Windows Media Player as well.
May 28th, 2007 at 9:08 pm
ye. it’s a codec thang
May 29th, 2007 at 5:53 pm
Thanks guys - downloaded divX and all’s fine now.
