Thanks Briscoe, I spent four long hard months honing this album into shape just so I could give away tons of copies to promote a new night at the club I work at. The feedback has been really positive so far.. 😀
Nice work Mr Dust. Although the debt the young pretenders owe to the old masters is pretty evident in some of the bass lines and guitar licks (esp Young Knives) I enjoyed finding out what the kids are listening to these days!
Loved the Doors remix, and that Soulwax Gossip remix is a killer innit, (we’ve just put it our next mix). Good stuff.

Oh, absolutely! As soon as I heard the Young Knives track I just knew it had to sit alongside the Joy Division one as they fit each other like a glove.. 😀
This really sent me.I was loving it right away but as soon as it hit flagpole sitta I was totally engaged.
It’s a great playlist with very enjoyable sound.
Each track went over a treat with me making the whole experience a great one.
I can certainly hear why you got good feedback.
Merci.
Also, just in case anyone didn’t know already, the whole Peter, Bjorn and John album is wonderful. Nothing as outright catchy as young folks, but just really lovely songs.
Top mix, love the way it seems to really get to grips with things right from the off! As I said earlier, any mix which includes a JD or a NO track is bound to appeal to me and this certainly did the trick. May have to pop up the road to one of your nights! 😀

Ahhhh, a fellow Wiltshire Man. Like the look of the tracklisting. Esp Joy Division and New Order.
Will give this a blast later on.

‘Young Folks’ and that remix of ‘Hello I love you’ are both great tracks as well.
The word, Helll Yeah comes to mind. Love this mix

That’s the best compilation mix i have ever got. thanx a lot. There are some new acts for me… just run to the shop and buy the originals. yippeah !
Loved the intro!
I don’t really follow this genre too closely so it’s great to have someone pick out a collection of highlights – some ace tunes in here.
Also, just in case anyone didn’t know already, the whole Peter, Bjorn and John album is wonderful. Nothing as outright catchy as young folks, but just really lovely songs.
digital does it for me 😀
Excellent stuff, a burner for sure.
As good as i hope it would be. Loved the funkiness to the indie tunes in the first half. Great mix, and gonna be burnt by me an’ all
Thanks mate, I can post you (and anyone else?) a proper CD of it if you want (there’s more artwork too!)
Yeah? I’ve sent you a message on myspace with my address. Cheers mate.
