this time it’s a piece from few years back.
one of my own favorites. i just wiped the dust off.
and that chameleons tune takes me back to a time when i woulda given anything to see them live….
oh and another thing – i forgot to mention that i hijacked a bong’s mashup for this mix!
it was before we have ever had a contact. then i wrote him and asked for the permission. he ok’d it. that’s how i ended up being a regular LJ forum visitor and so forth. so this mix is very meaningful for me in many ways.

It has a hard sound that I found ingratiating nonetheless.

errrmmm….
if i remember correctly, the main sample of that bootleg is from a 80’s r’n’b thing called mtume, the track is ‘juicy fruit’
it also has bits from ‘don’t say nothing’ by opaz, and obviously there are some guys talking, louis armstrong is one of them.
i wouldn’t know about negativeland, i’m afraid.
Great mix! I totally enjoyed the journey! Great stuff! The knight swho say Neit! LOL!! Awesome mix just awesome! Was very nice hearing that old Monty Python skit mixed in for good measure! Just incase anybody was wondering what the knights realy said after they said Neit! It was Icky Icky OOO! Very few men can stand up to the knights who says Icky Icky OOO! To this day I don’t believe anybody has. I’m pretty sure that’s why Estrada mixed it out, to spare you the pain of Icky Icky OOO! overall this was a fun mix to make my way through, never knowing whats around the next turn… oh I just love mixes like that. Good job mate! 🙂 🙂
