For you — the fourth release in the Relay Mix Project series.
I love the relay mixes…..and I will get round to your previous one soon, just dont seme to find the time recently to get to all of them! I can almost guarantee that I’m gonna love both of them, looking at the tracklists.
For a low-key beat progression it kept my interest fine. The former has broad, clear sound palette with noteworthy selections that were largely unknown to me.I favored it some for it’s sound. The latter I knew more of the tracks & liked much. The sound was deeper some ,which is good, but I was more inclined towards the former.
Overall,a wonderful listen & another strong section in the overall project.
The cover works.
Whilst beautifully mixed, I wasn’t that taken with the hip-hop on the first half (think I’ve been listening to too much recently) but really enjoyed the electic second half of jbavis – lots of nice miami bass are rare 80s grooves. well selected. Will give the first half another crack when my hip-hop levels have subsided.
