Very much liked your work.
The mixing has good motion & the selection is most pleasing.
Bent/plaid/lemon jelly was really great, but I found all of your work to be a treat.

Biskviit “Introduction To Spiritual Energy Radiatorsâ€
by Estrada
The Biskviit series has no timetable for production; generally speaking, you can expect one every three months or so, if you’re lucky. And I say “if you’re lucky” because the mixes Estrada puts on your table are slow cooked, slowly steam, with only the finest ingredients. He’ll slap your wrist if you take it in too quickly.
What Estrada does each time he tucks in your napkin is showcase his impecable mixing talent. I’m almost certain that if you approached him and asked for a handful of tracks mixed a la carte, he’d have them mixed up in the most fluent way possible. Each mix he does leaves you pleasantly full with no side effects or aftertaste.
Enough of his mixing ability — how about the mix?
“Gravity” clicks and clocks over a bassline with dreamy vocals to leave you wishing you were in a field of wheat doing… well, nothing. And it carries into the sunny, uplifting house tune by The Embassy — what a hell of a refreshing intro, huh? Followed by a remix of Ce Kul, you’ll wash it all down with a well known smooth Bent tune.
Plaid get funky on the drums and breaks leading into everyone’s favorite act, Lemon Jelly, in top form hot off their latest release. Ready the hot sauce, cause you’ve got some crazy organ-rock-female-vocal craziness with “Remember” leading into the uptempo disco fun of “Shut Out”. I hope you brought your steak knife, because this cut has a helluva thick guitar solo that sticks to your ribs.
Uno Naiisoo provides a peculiar piano/vocal segue into the extravegantly dubby tune by The Upsetters. From there, you get the deep moody vocals that sound like VHS Or Beta meets Phoenix — a cut so good, the hooks are still stuck in it. Pick them out and keep dining, because also on your plate is a fun disco cut by Firebolts followed by an amazing production by Kris Menace (shameless plug: you’ll see that same tune next month by a certain lazy and sexy DJ). The keys get dreamy and moody for “Howling At The Moon”, leading into the acoustic/keyboard combo that clears the table and readies you for bed.
This mix is so warm, sweet, dreamy, and sudden, you may as well take insulin shots to pevent diabetes. It’s that good, and before you know it, you’re realizing that your main course was desert. Shame on you? Nah. Estrada served it to you — blame him.
ah, fantastic feedback, my fellow mixers. i wasn’t able to reply cause shortly after the mix got posted i left to a country that wasn’t really connected to the internet.
thank you all that bothered to listen (and special props to vepik for deep review!)
>>> btw, who is the guy who speaks right after the Lemon Jelly tune ?
Sounds like he’s from my neck o the woods ?
it’s robbed from ‘creature comforts’. so it isn’t a guy at all, more like an insect, if i remember correctly – it was the insect that rolls big crapballs around, you know them? are they from your neck of woods? 🙂 don’t know how they are called in english. in estonian it’s “sitasitikas”
Is there an index page for the intro? I like the title. The cover is a splendid display of the power of design in font.
