I stared at that cover for a while, then it hit me! It’s Plastic-man! Nice effect.
This is some great funk music.Quite enjoyed your mixing.
I was used to hearing a live drummer with these kind’a tunes in the club. The segues would go on for around 5 minutes to allow the drummer lots of room.Hearing them like this is a new experience.
Marvelous sound.A big pleasure.I knew every track.Much fun!
Great stuff! “Gimme Your Love” is awesome – tune! And the Mandrill tracks too, always good to hear some Mandrill – looking forward to the next one now! 😀
Well . . .
it took me some time to get to listen to it fully.
The transitions shows a great knowledge in funky music.
I simply adore those shaft guitars…
Question : the first track sounds a bit like a disco tune right ?
And the final song from Rocky is a very nice idea.
A strong compilation very well thought and made, now I know what I can play when my friends ask me for funk.
