Got the full mp3 now Edward. Can’t find the cover or tracklist on the server, but then again my FTP programme can’t pick things up that are uploaded outside of the mixers.b00mb0x.org or upload.b00mb0x.org folders.
Can you move them over to either folder or upload again? Cheers. 😀
Not that I’m managing to make a meal of this or anything…
I’ve now re-uploaded two smaller cover images that abide by the rules :D.

Been a long wait for something new from Edward and as I’ve said before I always find something new and wonderful in a HP mix so don’t even need to cross my fingers for this one, really looking forward to it!
well i’m still here cos me kezza’s still doing her hair and i’m now shouting can u peel me off the ceiling// iv’e ate a heroic amount of weed and it’s doing the business. top mix lads i’m gonna float over to the go-go cage. great mix
as they say in the book, a kipper ahem i mean keeper 😉
Can’t check at the moment, but the file size should be more than 100MB. if it doesn’t end with someone saying “i’ll live” then you’ve not got it all! Maybe the original failed upload has been posted by mistake?
This is a class mix. Can’t easily pin it down to a genre to describe it, which is a big plus. Also like the way it moves between spooky and more straightforward chillout/downtempo. Couple of tunes I recognise from one of the X-Mix series (anyone else have those spacey X-Mix videos for appreciation in the *ahem* right state of mind?). A burner, to freak the family out.
Very, very nice.A splendid listen with no step out of place that my ear percieved.Wonderfully mixed & timed with finestkind cuts throughout.
The combined effect of two dj’s like y’all is impressive. It makes for an enhanced experience.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Use08: Glad you liked it – it was a really fun one to put together. RE: the mix cutting off at the end, the 101MB file on B00mb0x is definitely the right one now (just downloaded and checked myself). If your still having problems getting it, e-mail me at the address on the cover and we can sort something out.
Matrix: Thanks for the comment – I think the lack of specific genre came from the two of use working on it over a period of a few months. I’m pleased that the overall mood of the thing seems to hang together though.
You’re right, the Gemini 6 track is from X-Mix-1 – I think it accompanied some mind-blowing wireframe animation of a face in outer space. I’m sure if I went back and watched it now I wouldn’t be quite so impressed as I was… It reminds of taping “The Chill Out Zone” on MTV Europe back in ’92 / ’93.
We put the mix together in a kind of asynchronous tag-team style. We’d take it in turns to add a few minutes on the end and make a few tweaks to what was already there. It was good fun and seemed like a good match in terms of style (and age of record collection!).
What Edward said, many thanks all for the kind words so far. This was a lot of fun to do and I must admit I was not sure how it would work out, but we did seem to compliment each others choices/style pretty well. The challenge was to try to keep the quality level up everytime I heard what Ed had just done.
Matrix: I’ve got one of them X-Mix things as well. Vol 3 I think it is. I recall it got used in a similar manner to yours 😉 Many thanks for the props btw – I love your mixes so this is indeed an honour. cheers mate 😀
Me and Ed quite fancy compiling another (is that right Ed?) – hopefully we haven’t used all our best selections already!!
Guys…This is bloody awesome! Downloaded it the other day but only just got round to listening to it. The start of the mix sets it up perfectly and it just flows seamlessly from there.
Nice to see some St Etienne – always loved ‘He’s on the phone’ for its cheesy feel good vibe – so when I heard it in a LJ mix a couple of years back I was well chuffed.
Any many thanks for this one – more of the same please! 😀
Not that I’m obsessing over this or anything :), but someone’s just given us a vote of 1 out of 10 without a comment.
Seems a bit harsh really – any reason for the low score?

Don’t take it personally….the same person gave about 40 mixes a score of 1/10 within the space of a few minutes (apart from his own 8O)
I had noticed that a lot of the quality mixes on here had suddenly dropped in their average voting score. This mix is worth nothing less than 9.5 if not a 10. Listened to it numerous times now and it gets better with every play.
Thanks again guys
Tom
Bizarre… As Dangerscouse says, why would anyone do that? And marking their own as a 10/10 😯 . I can’t believe that…It sure is a funny old world. Happy Christmas and NY all, cheers hp
So i guess we can now all rest assured everybody’s up to speed with the issue of access to our computers, right? 😆
Anyway, there’s a simple solution against that, get more votes in so that the average is not thrown off by one single … er… merry man.
Not that it really counts that much …
I’d like to give back the gift of a 10/10 mark myself to this ‘hitman’, being givin’ season & such…
Merry Christmass people.
It might have just been the right mix for the right mood, but this mix is fuckin awe-inspiring, and would have been my first 10/10.
Not too subtle to make me lose interest, but subtle enough to take me on a journey. It’s got ups and downs, and samples to perfection. I hope that you two are proud of yourselves…….if not you should be!!
Sorry chaps – downloaded this before xmas and only just had that kinda space to listen to this – Me and my little un (who’s got chicken pox!) spent the whole afternoon with you guys and an excellent time we had too!
Great mix. Some of the tracks I haven’t heard in ages – got the old memories going again!
Also your version of Cantamilla by Tranquility Bass I haven’t heard before – I havn’t had time to dig it out here – I’ll check it some time this week!
Looks like this was posted too early – the upload didn’t complete. Retrying now. Watch this space…

You’ll need to resize them anyway guys – 300Kb limit.

WOW – just spotted one of my all time favs ‘Cantamilla’ – Tranquility Bass ! Tracklisting looks fab too – defo downloading NOW !
This mix has totally suited my mood tonight.
Thank you guys. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Listening to this, I’m reminded of the works of Mr.bong ?
And I mean that in the most complimentary way.
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Been a long wait for something new from Edward and as I’ve said before I always find something new and wonderful in a HP mix so don’t even need to cross my fingers for this one, really looking forward to it!
nice mix but spacing me head rite out. shall play you later when i get home 😈

Great one !
One thing though … i think it has been cut off at the end while uploading …
Can’t check at the moment, but the file size should be more than 100MB. if it doesn’t end with someone saying “i’ll live” then you’ve not got it all! Maybe the original failed upload has been posted by mistake?
It’s only got 84,1 Mb 🙁
what FTP clients are you using?
i moved the 101 MB version from the root, so it should be all good again
nice one. thanks Naz. I do seem to be making things difficult this time around!

How did you two work together exactly?

Oh,I almost forgot…The end cuts off still as of midnight,Sunday.Sure would like the complete piece. 🙁
it’s 101 MB on the server so I don’t know …

yes. the mix did the job
All is complete now! Thanks! Funny,,,it played on a short bit after itunes said it was at 0 seconds.
Technology! Ha! 😆

In that case, I won’t let it ruin my Christmas 😛
I can’t understand that, why would you give a mix 1/10? Surely it would have to be shite tunes played backwards at the wrong speed to warrant a 1.
Can’t say that I’ve had chance to listen to this yet, but judging from the reviews this aint in that category.
Also, they have given their mixes 10/10 ratings
I had noticed that a lot of the quality mixes on here had suddenly dropped in their average voting score. This mix is worth nothing less than 9.5 if not a 10. Listened to it numerous times now and it gets better with every play.

er…there is an explanation from the person involved. Without going into details, it’s a reminder to make sure access to your computer is secure!
So i guess we can now all rest assured everybody’s up to speed with the issue of access to our computers, right? 😆

Lovely. You’ve got love the sound of very posh and very Welsh(?) people discussing space.
Just caught up with the last few comments, so a big thanks again from me and Edward for all the kind words.
😀 😀 😀
Sweet – just passed the 500 downloads mark!
Noticed we were on 499 this morning and then it went up while I was watching.
Thanks to everyone who’s listened. Hope you all enjoyed it.
hey! this was a triP! Somehow I missed this one. I totally EnJoYed the ride!!! Flying Saucers are real! 😉
Mr Cheese, great to see this is still being listened to (and enjoyed!). I still love this meself! cheers hp 🙂
