there’s a whole series of this “relay project” – I’m only in the first two – but maybe we could post some more of the project here — they only get better…!
I had a very good time with this.Relay works well! While I loved the K.Megatrip section,I was thrilled with the Jimbalaya part.Beatles + s.medallions.Quite a treat! Post away! 😀 😀 😀 😀 8) 8) 8) 8)
Only got halfway through, but I enjoyed your mix Matt. Typical K.M. tunes that leave ya smiling, and wondering how you manage to consistently pull out obscure tunes that should be classics!
Wonderful! Love the film/Muppets samples, and as for the music, well, all these boombox mixes just remind me how much amazing music there is – apart from the Beasties and Booker T., I’ve never heard any of King Megatrip’s tunes, and they’re all great. Jimbalaya’s mix includes more old favourites, for me at least, but still has some pleasant surprises, The Sea & Cake in particular. If this is what they’re like I’d love to hear more “relay project” mixes!
yeah – well the project is sorta at a stand still – I’ll see if the involved parties would like to get the following 2 legs posted — but there was a whole plan that’s kind of fallen apart at this point – maybe good news soon!
