Before we get going here, first things first: this is a trance mix… This is my very first trance mix. There are two generes I don’t typically touch: drum n bass and trance. So I apologize to those who have come to expect deep house, house, disco, etc — this may not be your ballpark.
With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy this. I tried as best I could to make this a “Seasonal” set. It’s cold outside, for some of you this may entail more snow than others, and I wanted a to mix a set that would reflect our surroundings. If you don’t like it, the next seven sets will be the usual Lazy//Sexy sound.
Well as with all the Lazy//Sexy mixes the mixing and set order is awesome. The tracks flow into one another without even the slightest hint of key clash as is so common with very atmospheric and string/pad music.
A thoroughly enjoyable listen from start to finish.
Wasn’t too keen on the remake of Billie Ray Martins classic house track – the vocals weren’t a patch on the original recording.
Other than this great stuff. Look forward to the next Lazy//Sexy installment 😀
Only knew the AVB track.Sure liked this set much! Trance & me are fast friends.
Fine work all around (as usual) & this could easily have been longer for me.
That AVB track is special alright, and that remix gives it just a little more backbone. Really though, what motivated me the most to do this set was the Karen Overton remix — I can’t sem to get sick of it.
