Acid Pro 5. Do you know anything about that? LAtely the volumes have been coming out decent… but I have no idea how I’m getting em’ like that. Any way I can enhance the volume on this puppy without losing the quality…?
Glad you like the mix though. I really love driving on flat, open stretches of land with the sun going down to this one… especially the intro and outro. But that’s just me 😉
what are u using to make an mp3 of the mix?
acid will render as mp3 if you want it to. make sure the preview and master sliders aren’t set too low maybe 😯
Come to think of it, I usually do leave them relativly low (on the master sliders).
I’ll have to twiddle around more and figure this shiite out.

then mp3 it….
i use a seperate program, Lame, to make my mp3’s..

cheep cheep… stick to bedroom DJing Vepik, humor ain’t your schitck.
For the most part with Acid, I’ve got the whole mixing, fading in and out, and getting all the track volumes to sound even down pat. Volumizing the mix so it sounds loud or soft I still gotta mess with… not quite sure if it’s the master I gotta twiddle, or the tracks’ volumes individually.
Until then, you get what you pay for 😆

Can’t you just whack the master volume up a bit if you mix to down and it’s clearly not filling up the screen? (technical stuff there! hehe) If in doubt, I just do a post-mixdown amplify by about 5 dB to try to stick everything in the red and ruin all my delicate work 😆

i’ve been listening to these mixes since the first and your deep house sets always stand out the most… don’t get me wrong the more upbeat sets are top notch, but the deep mixes are just precious!! keep t up!!
