Alright.

After an epic ammount of drinking at the local watering hole, I come back home and discover a fresh new Bong mix on the b00mb0x frontpage: Curry Goat. The title makes me laugh my ass off.

Then I hear the mix and lose 80 minutes of my life to dubbed out, spacey reggea… had my attention from start to finish, and I can’t wait to give it the second run-through tommorow.

As far as praise goes, I have to say one thing: your mixes have become very comfortable to listen to. “I’ll Mouse You” had the overall deep, summery feel… and “Curry Chicken” has the overall spacey, blissed out reggea. These mixes are materializing into incredibly well worked out sounds.

By my favorite mix of yours so far is still, believe it or not, “Blank Expressionism” by far… one of the most profound, provocative mixes I’ve heard.

Just my two cents 😉

I had a chicken and lemon curry pizza in Spain last year cos it looked good after a few jars and nearly killed myself!!

This doesn’t sound like my favourite type of music but as usual I expect to be dining out in Bong’s Cafe again as he is always cooking up something good – more goat anyone?

Derived a lot of pleasure from this set.I always wonder why I don’t listen more often to reggae as it never disappoints.
Great work evident here with transitions shining & fine even sound.Marvelous setlist with many artists new to me.It is sure to send me online to my fave used cd broker.Got to get some Jah Berry & that U-Roy # is great!
The abrupt ending was a bit jarring after being subdued by all the mellowness.Knowing it’s coming next time I’ll be prepared.

Well mixed and good selection of tracks.
Reggae is one of the few musical genres that just doesn’t do it for me so taste wise it’s not my thing though.
For those who like though I imagine it’s 5* all the way though.

Solid solid sounds. I’m mostly into the Rocksteady/Soul stuff when it comes to reggae, I need a song to hold onto unless the groove is absolutely stone cold but this mix got me rocking.

Bong, this is soooooo cool, my other half, M, as it says in the name, isn’t into reggae, but I can get away with stuff like this. It’s like you’ve gone out and got the good choons, so she doesn’t have to listen to the fillers, so I can play it with out her moaning. Cheers.
Also no bones, in this Curried Goat, like there normally is.
