Cheers HP – Your absolutely right about the ending – but I always can’t waste that free space within the 74 mins (CD time-out etc!) Also I wanted to build a tune around the Wizard of Oz sample at the end – got busy & ran out of time etc so crashed in my fav track from the Plumbline/Roger Eno album ‘Transparencies’ (ambient is back..he! he!)
Thanks again for the positive feedback – the b00mbox vibe is brilliant – it’s getting me back into doing mixes – another one on it’s way soon!
Very nice to hear the mix is still gettin’ a listen – I kinda like the format of a mix in two halves – upbeat at first / laidback towards the finish.
If you need a cd (17 trks) drop me a line – cheers again

A damn fine selection.
Upbeat without being cheesy or predictable (a fine line with any horn-centric Latin action), perfect Bank holiday weekend action.
Three thumbs up.

You’re right about that Eno/Plumbline album. I would have struggled not to include a track from it as well. cheers
Defo – that album is becoming my chill out soundtrack for this spring/summer !
Still catching up; this is very good – not just a keeper but a burner too. I like the swings in mood from funk to more laidback tunes.
Very nice to hear the mix is still gettin’ a listen – I kinda like the format of a mix in two halves – upbeat at first / laidback towards the finish.
