This month, by request, the mix goes into uncharted territory. This is a drum n bass mix unlike any you’ve ever heard. It begins very chilled with cuts by Thunderball and Acoustintetics, and slowly shimmers along until reaching the spacey, bassy remix of “Fresh” by Pendulum. After that, it’s pure ragga fun with exceptional production and vocals. The mix closes with a dub cut.
This will most likely be the only drum n bass mix I do… but this is the Lazy//Sexy approach to the genre nonetheless. Enjoy!
Soz. It’s a smooth mix and I imagine works very well as background music at a party (so so many apologies) because it starts slowly and builds up some serious momentum before rumbling out. For me though, drum n bass just ain’t my bag, I find it a little bit too tasteful, if you don’t mind me saying. If I’m after high BPM breaks then I’m going to go for something which really does soe damage like Venetian Snares or Alec Empire. I look forward to hearing some more though Vepik because it looks like you know your stuff. I’ll just wait till our tastes collide 😉
Your mix was killer. It was refreshing as hell to hear solid, fun house music like that. I’m really looking forward to hearing what new records you will find and what sound you will continue to develope.
As for me, the next mix will do alllllll the talking in the world. Have you heard the new tune by Starkillers called “Diskoteka”? It’ll be in there wit ha few Zoo Brazil remixes — I think you’ll like it.

(crickets chirping)
I’m gonna go ahead and garner that there aren’t too many fans of drum n bass on this here site.
Or, fans of me 😉
The next mix will be on par with the usual sound, much like Lazy//Sexy01 (Origins) and Lazy//Sexy03 (Summer Break) were.
Sorry, I listened to this and liked it….should have left a comment.
imo you should maybe tone down the over-dramatic commentary though (eg “mix unlike any you’ve heard”) and let the music do the talking.
…and there are plenty of crickets chirping over at my latest mix 😉
