very cool nod to the NY sound of the early 80’s post punk and Moroder-esque disco . Sweet mix!

I’ll explain a bit what I tried to make with this one :

As it was my first ACID only mix, I wanted it to sound unusual, thus, choosing unusual tunes was a good choice in that optic.

Next, I wanted it to be as polished as possible (with the skills I got at hand, that is).

And last I wanted it to require several listenings in order to be fully “enjoyed”.

I included a part of the queen megamix I’m currently working on (and this is quite a difficult job to do as their music is very different from period to period).

I must have listened to it a hundred times in the making, I know every single song (and tens of others I tried to include as well), so I can only but enjoy all the tunes I’ve put in here (even though, at the begining, I didn’t like at all at least one third of the tunes).

I’d like to ask one thing to you :

Were the stereo samples too much ? I think I’ve placed here and there too many of left-right samples, but it’s only my opinion…

Anyway, I knew this wouldn’t be much popular because of the tracks selected, but hey… that’s not a problem, is it ?

    Cheers !
