All those tracks are ten years old techno.
I tried to choose nice and representative techno music from that area of time.
    (circa 1995-1996).
There are some hits and some classics.
Hope you enjoy it, I loved making it ans listen to it from time to time, even if I find it hard to listen to everythning in one go, it may proove successful to throw out at parties.

    Cheers,

    dEZ.

Actually, I used to dance alot on those tunes at that time, now I can’t because of an accident, but do they sound “that” old ?

I am not an expert in that particular kind of music ( I’d like to make my modest contribution on this site as aclectic as possible).

Back in 96, many people weren’t aware that the moby track was a sample/cover of Badalamenti’s soundtrack for Twin Peaks

    wow !
this is even older than I thought then, I should have checked the dates before posting huh !

btw, I find myself playing alot the orb track, are their other songs as good as this one ? (little fluffy clouds)

Little Fluffy Clouds is not really in the same style as the rest of the album, but The Orb’s Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld is great. U.F.Orb is also a must get – it’s one of my favourite chillout albums.

    Thx for your recommandations
I’ll rent their first album asap (and try to get a copy of the towers of dub track).

    you’re very nice.

Nice. Some quite mellow choices for ‘techno’ I thought. I always associate techno with really banging beats, could be just me.

And can I add another mention for U.F.Orb. It was the first album that turned me onto a whole other world of music beyond guitar-based verse-chorus-verse stuff. It holds a very special place in my heart. It’s as vital as The KLF’s Chill Out, which is very very high praise.
