Thanks guys for the comments! Some of you may remember what it was like in the late 70’s early 80’s when we were fascinated with all things space (Star Wars, Buck Rogers, ALF(?)), as well as the silver shiny suits we’d be wearing when the year 2000 rolled around. This mix is made up primarily of 70’s electronic disco, 80’s italo and current copy cats. If you weren’t there , this can give you an idea of the feeling of what we thought the present day would be like over 20 years ago. Cheesy and frightening, ray guns set on stun. Remember, 2012 is right around the corner (Blade Runner anyone?). Also, it’s another excuse for me to include vocoders and handclaps ( a must for anyone over 30).

Rayguns don’t kill people . . .
. . . aliens kill people.
Now, what’s Klingon for “funky mix”??
March 31st, 2005 at 8:33 pm
According to the Klingon Translator at http://members.aol.com/jpklingon/uta/javauta.html
“good work” = QaQ vum
(There’s no word in Klingon for “funky” or “mix” or “music”)
Jeez! Am I a dork or what!!

Space disco, you say? I’m imagining some seriously funky zero-gravity dancing to this. Lovely stuff.
