Very good mix, expertly done as always. You’re like the John Peel of the group, the elder statesman who is into all kinds of music. i’m not as much into trance, but you tackle the mix with aplomb. I love your more organic stylings as well. All hail the music teacher!
WOW!
I was totally not expecting such a glowing review, makes me feel like I’m doing something right for a change!!!
Thanks Briscoe! After the weekend I’ve had, I really needed that.
i hadn’t heard any of the tunes before, but thought there was some mighty fine stuff here. very nice ebb and flow to things. this is some great work, Geez 🙂
As explained at GYBO, these are some very old mp3’s that I had downloaded from the original mp3-dot-com and just recently discovered them on a back-up CD. Due to my earlier inexperience with mp3 tags, I had accidently obliterated most of the tags with the artists names so, if anyone recognizes any of the “Unknowns”, please inform me so the artists can get their due credit.
Playlisting:
A Call to Ancestors – Bjorne Lynne
Driving Down Highway 31 – Unknown
Ehowap Eepowewow Ehowap – B-Fluid
Ibiza (Looped-up Porn Star Mix) – Unknown
Land of Love – Unknown
Shuttle Launch Mix – Orbit2
Settle Down – Unknown
Yeah, what she said, about the cool beats and how trance rocks. I have never seen a more devoted trance fan than myself, but this may take the cake. Trance is global and stuff. Word to my mother!
very impressive.
I’m off in a few hours to catch an overnight ferry to Niijima, for the annual Anoyo trance party. I’ll do a blog on it upon my return, if I survive. A typhoon is scheduled to hit the island tomorrow 🙂
